New Year, New Planner!
January is a great time to get a new planner for the year since most start Jan -Dec! This is my second year getting the Inner Guide Weekly Planner and I absolutely LOVE IT!! Why?
Because it guides you to be a mentally healthy, goal oriented, positive & productive human! This planner is definitely more geared towards women (sorry boys) but hey, so is this website so who cares?! Not me!
This planner has everything you need to live your dream year! It starts with a few exercises for you to outline your goals, dream life, biggest strengths/weaknesses, etc...
It provides you with tips for stressful times, mindfulness, and staying on track.
Then each month has a looking forward & end of month review complete with positive quotes, check in on how you’re doing with achieving your goals, and places to jot down notes and creative ideas.
Each week has a positive quote, mood check in, mindfulness check in, place to write your priorities for the week, to do list, what you are grateful for, & reflections on the week!
I can honestly say that after using this planner for a year I noticed a serious change in my outlook on life! I was so much more positive and productive and much better at holding myself accountable to things I wanted to do!

I am on my second try reading this book and I must say that you have to be in the mindset of self improvement to really get into it.
Now that I have my mind in the right part everything about this book makes so much more sense and Cameron writes the way she speaks, very bouncy and energetic. She does a great job at breaking it down in to everyday language that is easy to understand and she folds in a good amount of light hearted humor!
This book was a gift from my best friend. She got it for me for my 25th birthday a few weeks back.
I am always doodling or painting or something random to occupy my mind & time to relax after work. But sometimes I am not feeling creative, I simply want to make something beautiful (there are blank pages for those days you are feeling creative).
This book allows just that. There are 4 chapters, each have a specific intention. When I was flipping through it the vibe & purpose of the book is similar to some principles of yoga.
Check it out! Hope you like it!
This book saved me from myself and a life long of heart break! I was on a path of relationship self destruction!
By Agrov's definition I was a doormat, someone who would drop all her hobbies and jump through hoops to please everyone around her.
Now after gaining perspective found in this book I have proudly become a bitch! Or rather, "A woman who won't bang my head against the wall obsessing over someone else's opinion- be it a man or anyone else in my life!"
Agrov breaks down the difference in being a nice girl or a strong confident woman. The nice girl is great but always gets taken advantage of and feels empty due to the voids shes created in her own life for other people while the strong confident women doesn't break her schedule for those in her life. She may make adjustments but she stays true to herself and is loved and respected by those she loves and those who love her more because of that.
Better Homes and Gardens Cook Book
This is a book that has been used in my family for generations! It is a great book for those who know nothing about cooking, want a refresher, or are a master chef.
It is filled with amazing recipies and helpful tips! I love reading the opening chapters of cook books for all the information it covers that you probably don't know.
Some topics covered are:
-What you should keep in your pantry at all times
-What kitchen gadgets go with which task
- Complimenting flavors
-Facts about ingredients and where they should be stored, how long, and how to properly cook them
-basic cooking and prep techniques.
Living Your Yoga, is a great book that walks you through your practice of yoga.
It's a great read for people who have practiced for years as I have and want to get back into touch with the mental side of yoga, as well as those who are interested in implementing yoga into their lives.

Every one is talking about is, everyone is watching it, but not everyone has read it.
50 Shades is a trilogy of erotica. The second and third books develop more of a story and takes the spotlight from all the sex. For women who are timid and sexually shy or unexperienced this book is a quick read that will pry your mind open to things you never thought of doing in your bedroom. While most of the moves and tools used are well outside the average person's comfort zones, a few are worth a try. Scarves, blindfold, love taps of a riding crop, and the use of music. These are fun things to try that doesn't require anything too crazy or painful.

The holidays were stressful. Women everywhere were working over time. Between making Thanksgiving plans, Christmas shopping/baking/decorating/wrapping etc, the event of christmas itself, and last but not least, New Years Eve; who had time to keep up with what was happening in the real world? Now that the holidays are over its times to relax and dive into what is happening beyond your immediate circles. Rather then suggesting a book that takes time and money (we are all to broke for that after the holidays), I thought I would share my favorite news source with you! Elite Daily is written by and for my generation, the Y generation. The articles are engaging and more importantly written in summary form. Because you know none of us have the patience or time to read a 2 page newspaper article. They cover basically every topic that relates to what life situations most people our age are currently experiencing, in addition to politics, business, and entertainment! Hope you enjoy it just as much as I do.
